GOB DDR Gallery Piece

This is the work I'm submitting to the GOB Magazine/DDR Galleries show.
I arranged these side by side so one could get a feel for the works wall presence.

Framed dimensions are as follows:
Large piece 20x20 (1 inch frame - 4 inch mat - 10 inch image area)

Small piece 13x13 (1 inch frame - 3 inch mat - 5 inch image area)

The work is a bit of social commentary on the auto industry, General Motors and their bankruptcy.

Prep Work

This is the "key image" for one part of a digital diptych print I am making for the one night only G.O.B./D.D.R. House of Art Show this coming July 3rd. There is lots of work left to do on it yet.
Its a social commentary piece about the auto industry and the bail out/bankruptcy of General Motors.

Handy

As of last week when I drew this it was the first thing I had drawn in about a month.
From pencils to inks and digital color it took about 4 and a half hours to do.
