Ancient Egypt
I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to my fascination with ancient Egypt; all of the art and culture capture my imagination like no other.
This particular drawing is not based on any specific historical figure. Shes just a composite of several famous female Pharaohs in a totally fictitious way of course.
The half buried statue of the Pharaoh next to her is no one in particular, though I should mention I gave the statue my face.
This is another one that would really benefit from some bad-ass colors. I'm just not good enough in that area (because of my color blindness) to color this in the way I have it imagined in my head.
Drawn at about 14 x 17 from pencils to inks it took about 3 and a half to 4 hours to finish.
