The former of these two images was done for a design for production class I took a little while back. The idea was to take an existing tour and make a promotional poster for it that was sound and effective in a graphic design kinda way.
Heavy metal sure can be pretty lame, but ya gotta love their predictable 'bad-ass' type of imagery.
The latter of these two images was done for myself. I just dig the band Bad Religion and had already drawn the little cityscape with the burning palm trees so I figured why not make a tour poster out of it. It was fun, so that was really enough justification for me...
